MISSION STATEMENT

At Amond World, we are developing a state-of-the-art refrigerated cold storage facility to specifically support farmers and processors. Cold Storage will increase profitability with short and long-term storage to maintain the integrity of the nut and extend almond shelf life by up to two years, simplify hold costs and logistics while eliminating the high cost to fumigation after harvest and delay going to market to take advantage of seasonal price premiums yielding addition revenue.

Robert Sullivan is a Partner and Co-Founder of the Amond World, LLC and Amond World Refrigerated Cold Storage  and has spent over 35 years as an Industrial Commercial Real Estate and Investment broker with Coldwell Banker, CB Commercial Real Estate, CB Richard Ellis and CBRE where he was Vice President of Commercial Investment Real Estate Properties. He specialized in unique real estate opportunities and Industrial Distribution developments. Bob has a California Real Estate Broker License and is experienced and knowledgeable in the field of buying, selling, leasing and developing industrial distribution warehouse properties.  Robert wife’s family acquired the El Peco Ranch in Madera in 1868 for cattle and thoroughbred horses and the El Peco Ranch now farms. Robert is the director and supervisor of warehouse operations and short and long term leases.

Steve Sagouspé was a Partner and Co-Founder of the Amond World, LLC and was the owner of Sagouspé Real Estate, Inc. Steve was active in Agricultural sales and Commercial/Industrial sales throughout the state of California since 1990 and the developer/manager of two commercial projects in the Madera area.   Steve was raised on a farm that grew several crops and has been involved in numerous Agricultural organizations.  He was active in the Madera County Community and was Past Chairman of the Madera County Water Advisory Commission, Past Chairman of the Water Resources Sub-Committee, Past Chairman of the 19th Congressional Business Council, Member of the 19th Congressional Water & Ag Council, Supporter and former member of the Madera County Ag Boosters, Member of the Fresno State Alumni Association, Member of the Agricultural Leadership Alumni (ALA) and longtime Member of the Farm Bureau. A private pilot, graduate of California Agricultural Leadership Program XXVI and recipient of a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Fresno.

Lee Ann Kreps is the VP of Sales and Marketing for Amond World, LLC.  She has been selling Agricultural & Residential Real Estate for over a decade.  Lee Ann was raised on a ranch and currently farms pistachios with her husband.  She is an owner with her siblings in the LR Martin cattle ranch, Madera County.  She is active in the California Women for Agriculture-Central Valley, American Pistachio Growers Assoc., and supports Madera 4-H Clubs. Lee Ann has her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Fresno and has a Master of Science degree in Administration.  Lee Ann’s experience and skills gives her the background to make sure critical deadlines are met.  She will ensure great customer service and sound solutions are provided to give customers the best return for their patronage.  She prides herself on her organizational skills and those skills will be used to provide an exemplary customer experience at Amonld World, LLC.

Edwin Aguilar is the Plant Manager of the Amond World, LLC. He has 15 plus years of experience in the food manufacturing industry. Experience managing Cold Storage and Processing facilities with a variety of different products: leafy greens, tomatoes, fresh cut fruit, almonds, stone fruit, mushrooms, and nonperishables. He has managed full time and seasonal teams ranging from 80-200 employees and is versed in multiple aspects of operations including Shipping/Receiving, Procurement, Inventory, Quality Control/Food Safety, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Production, and Human Resource. He Obtained certifications in Food Safety (FSMA), HACCP, Lean Six Sigma, Forklift (train the trainer), LOTO, and general OSHA employee safety throughout his career. Edwin was born and raised in the Central Valley and Graduated from California State University Fresno with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He is a 1st generation Mexican American and is fluent in both Spanish and English. His family is rooted in agriculture and is excited to be in the forefront of advancing food safety standards and practices. Edwin will ensure that all products are handled and stored with the utmost care and professionalism keeping the best interest in mind of the customer.
